Jaco and Herradura
Jacó is the primary visitor base, while many fishing boats board from Herradura Bay or nearby marina facilities. The drive from central Jacó is generally around 10–15 minutes, depending on traffic and your accommodation.

Hotel pickup assistance
Transportation may be arranged from Jacó, Playa Hermosa, Herradura, Los Sueños and other nearby accommodations. Tell us where you are staying and the total passenger count.

How quickly is a boat considered reserved?
A date is not normally secured until availability is confirmed and the required deposit is completed. An inquiry alone does not hold a boat.
Should I contact you before booking flights?
If fishing is a priority, checking approximate boat availability early is helpful. Final confirmation still depends on the individual boat and deposit.
Can you recommend a boat without knowing our group size?
Group size is essential because legal capacity and comfortable fishing space vary. Include all adults and children in the passenger count.
What if we do not know whether to fish inshore or offshore?
Tell us the species you hope to catch, the ages and experience of your group, and whether you prefer a half or full day. We will explain the best fit.
Can you arrange a fishing trip for beginners?
Yes. Crews assist first-time anglers. Inshore half-day trips are often comfortable for families, while beginners can also enjoy a full-day offshore charter.
